The project "Priamurie and the First World War" is a detailed story about the peculiarities of life in Priamurie during the First World War.

Grodekovsky Museum with the support of the Foundation "History of the Fatherland" presents the project "Priamurie and the First World War" - a detailed story about the peculiarities of life of Priamurie during the First World War.

The project includes a digital edition of the full catalog of the collection of photographic documents from the museum collection, as well as a series of videos filmed in Khabarovsk, including in places where traces of World War I can be found today.
World War I of 1914-1918 had enormous proportions and consequences. It was the detonator of major revolutions, as a result of which the Russian, Austro-Hungarian, German and Ottoman empires ceased to exist. The life of the whole world, the whole country, including the Amur Region, was changed. At that time, the Amur Region was the most distant rear area of the Russian Empire from the Eastern (Russian) Front. But thanks to its border location, its defense and commercial and transport importance for Russia increased.
