Полевой сезон 2018 г. Памятник «Биджан-4»

From 17.07 to 26.07.2018 an archeological reconnaissance on the monument Bidzhan-4 (Lenin district of EAD) was carried out.

In the course of the work, we received a variety of material relating to a new, previously unknown ceramic complex from the 7th-6th millennium BC, according to radiocarbon dates.

Fragments of ceramic vessels and stone implements were found, including objects of plate-splitting technology.

The archaeological material of this monument is important for studying the distribution of the areal of cultures associated with plate stone-splitting technologies on the territory of Khabarovsk Territory and the Evreiskaya Autonomous Region.
