Visit Deputy Director General for storage, accounting and registration museums of the Moscow Kremlin, N.F. Afanasyeva in Grodekovo Museum.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums and the Grodekovsky Museum are negotiating the organization in Khabarovsk in 2023 of the exhibition "Alexander II: Liberator and Reformer" from the collection of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, dedicated to Emperor Alexander II and the anniversary of the establishment of the border between the Russian Empire and the Qing Empire in the Amur region.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity to recreate the image of a historical figure who fulfilled his highest duties and implemented state reforms ahead of time. This event will allow the residents of Khabarovsk Krai to get acquainted with unique items from the collection of one of the largest federal museums of Russia, deepen knowledge about significant events of national history, and will also contribute to the formation of moral and patriotic feelings.
The exposition will be presented with unique material sources, including the coronation uniform of Alexander II, weapons, items of fine art and numismatics. In total, more than fifty exhibits have been selected, many of which will be displayed for the first time. This project, prepared for the Grodekovsky Museum, is the first joint event with the Moscow Kremlin Museums, which will not be repeated at other exposition sites.
Natalya Fyodorovna arrived in Khabarovsk to get acquainted with the exhibition site and to discuss the conditions of the exhibition with the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of Khabarovsk Krai and the Grodekovsky Museum.
