May 15

The Forum will be held in Vladivostok on May 25-27

On May 25-27, Vladivostok will host the Russian Creative Week forum with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives. This is the first platform in the Far East where all creative industries of the Far Eastern Federal District will be represented. The organizers are planning a large-scale event that will bring together creative businesses of both regional and federal levels.

More than 200 speakers will speak at the forum, more than 3.5 thousand people from 11 subjects representing 16 creative industries will participate.

The business program of the event will be held at the Ocean Cinema, while special projects and cultural events will be held at other locations in the city. Key topics for discussion this year: consolidation of creative leaders from the Far Eastern Federal District, creative entrepreneurship, tourism and territorial development, and the Creative Industries Development Program.

The delegation of Khabarovsk Krai includes representatives of the region's creative industry working in various areas: animation film making, 3D modeling, photo and video production, design, creative, theater and music festivals, art venues, as well as representatives of the region's cultural community. Already confirmed participation: Animation Studio "Mechtalet", Khabarovsk Krai Animation Art Development, Far Eastern Film School DVizh'OK, Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N.I. Grodekov, theaters and others.

Grodekovo Museum will present at the forum the project "Okamenelosti: Far Eastern Expedition", which won the grant competition of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives in 2021. The stage of implementation fell on 2022, in which they organized field educational events for children and pensioners in 5 remote areas of the region: Okhotsk, Nelkan, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Sovetskaya Gavan and Vanino. The project is an introduction to two scientific areas - paleontology and geology.

- We present the findings and achievements of Far Eastern scientists. The mobile exposition is collected from the funds of our museum and partly from private collections of Far Eastern paleontologists and geologists. Thanks to this, children can not only see the exhibits, but also take many of them in their hands and examine them under a microscope. Special models were also made by artists for the project, and the project team prepared practical lessons for the participants of the educational event. The specificity of the exhibition is also in the fact that all the items are included in the excursion work. This year the project will be continued," said Svetlana Vavilina, Head of the Cultural and Educational Center of the N.I. Grodekov Khabarovsk Territory Museum.

Registration for the forum will be open until May 27 inclusive at the official website.

Recall that the Russian Creative Week has been held since 2020. The Forum brings together representatives of all creative industries of the country, is one of the key drivers of institutional change of creative industries in Russia, in the realization of economic, scientific and technological potential of the country.
