Redcom opens its exhibition at the Grodekov Museum
Unique exhibits, which can not only be viewed, but also touched, are presented at the exhibition timed to the anniversary of the first Internet provider of Khabarovsk.
In honor of a solid date - 30 years - Radcom collected valuable exhibits to present them at the exhibition "Radcom. History of the Internet in Khabarovsk". The exposition is divided into three decades and tells about the company's contribution to the development of the Internet and television networks, improvement of computer literacy of the residents of the regional capital, and modern services of the company. The exhibition is unique not only for its exhibits, but also for the opportunity to touch some of them. For example, visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to use a computer manufactured in 1999 and listen to how a dial-up modem worked.
- We can safely say that the whole company's soul was put into the exhibition. Many employees took part in collecting exhibits, information and photos. They found a lot of interesting things in their personal archives - from badges and diplomas to rare equipment and unique photos. All visitors to our small exhibition will be able not only to plunge into the atmosphere of the beginning of the computer era, but also to look into the very heart of Redcom, - said Dmitry Tkachenko, General Director of the company.
Today, many residents of the regional capital use the services of this company: high-speed Internet, telephony, video surveillance, television and intercom. This year the organization celebrates its anniversary. For 30 years, the company has gone from a small operator of e-mail services to an important regional company confidently competing with major players in the market.
Redcom invites Khabarovsk citizens and guests of the city to its anniversary exhibition, which will be held from April 1 to 29 at the Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N.I. Grodekov.
