Chinese Grodekovo Museum won a grant of 1 million rubles
Grodekovo Museum has won a grant from the Potanin Foundation in the second cycle of anti-crisis initiatives in the amount of 1 million rubles.
This allows us to continue working toward a comprehensive development focused on attracting visitors and creating a comfortable physical and informational environment.
In this regard, we plan to purchase equipment and create content for such long-awaited audio guides in our museum, which, in the context of the pandemic and its associated restrictions, will be another step toward expanding the presentation capabilities of the museum product.
Content for audio guides will not be just information duplicating the texts of tour guides, but a new intellectual product created using accumulated knowledge and new ways of presenting information.
Namely, texts in the format of storytelling, relying on Bluetooth tags in the exhibitions. This approach fully meets the concept of museum development, which is based on the principles of openness and mutual participation. The implementation of the system will solve another problem - to hold guided tours for groups in the street and in the format of special excursion programs at such events as Night at the Museum, Night of Art, and Wednesday DV, tours as part of city events, where it is important to hear, but not to be tied to the narrator at the same time. The content created for the physical audio guides will also be used for integration on the museum website.
Part of the development plan will be the introduction of IP-telephony as a tool for effective interaction with potential visitors and partners. The capabilities of modern virtual PBXs allow not only receiving, processing and sorting incoming calls, but also forming a client base, analyzing the audience, building the most effective redirection schemes, introducing and, if necessary, adjusting voice menus.
Both directions of organizational development will allow strengthening the image position of the museum in conditions when the choice is enormous and lies in two planes - virtual or real. We strive to let the visitor choose the form of interaction with the museum and feel satisfied either way.
