Please note that our museum is presented in three buildings:

  • Shevchenko, 11 - Amur Museum and Historical Building
  • Turgeneva 86 - Museum of Archeology
  • 15 Shevchenko Street - Amur Cliff (temporarily closed for re-exposition)

In terms of their architectural solutions the buildings are differently prepared to receive visitors with disabilities, so please contact our administrators in advance with all questions about organizing a visit to the museum.

You can get to the museum by public transport:
- Stop Far Eastern Scientific State Library: bus number 1, 4, 29, 14, 19, 56, 55, 34 , trolleybus number 1, route cab number, 82, 83p.

On the territory of the museum there is parking for vehicles of people with disabilities for 2 places, equipped with special signs. The entrance to the Amur Museum building is equipped with a ramp. To call a staff member, use the button located in front of the main entrance to the museum, or phone +7 (4212) 477-150.

Access to the museum is provided for guide dogs accompanying visually impaired people. For the convenience of low-mobile visitors there is a wheelchair, which can be used during the visit to the museum. There is also free admission for a person accompanying a person with disabilities, regardless of the type of disability.

The Amur Museum building is moved between floors by an elevator adapted for people with limited mobility. In the historic building, a mobile stairlift is provided for moving between floors in order to overcome stair flights of stairs while moving inside the building.

The exhibitions "The Development of Russia's Priamurye in the late 19th and early 20th centuries", "Military conflicts and civil war in the Far East of Russia" provide access for people with limited mobility through the emergency exit door under the arch.

You can purchase a ticket at the museum ticket office with the help of the building administrator. The ticket for disabled people of all groups and accompanying persons is free of charge.

The ticket office is located in the building of the Amur Museum. Opening hours: from 10:00 to 17:30, without a lunch break.

In the museum building you can use the toilet (Amur Museum building, ground floor). The toilets are equipped with special buttons to call a staff member. The distance from the stop "Museum of Archaeology" to the main entrance of the museum is 100 meters. From the pedestrian sidewalk to the museum entrance is a staircase down 5 meters long, with a slope of 30 degrees.

The Museum of Archaeology building is an object of cultural heritage protected by the state. It is partially accessible to people with disabilities - those with visual, hearing, mental and emotional impairments.

Provides access to guide dogs in the exhibition halls. You can use the stairs to move between floors. You can use the restroom in the museum building. Toilets are not equipped with special buttons to call a staff member. Guided tours and other educational work with disabled people are only available by appointment. You must make an appointment for an excursion/workshop/occupation one week in advance.
