The game "Khabarovsk. 1918" is dedicated to the events that unfolded in Khabarovsk after the occupation of the city ataman Kalmykov September 5, 1918. Through their characters players will immerse themselves in the vicissitudes of the Civil War and look at the large-scale historical events through the eyes of an ordinary man - a Cossack or an officer, a representative of the urban intelligentsia or a revolutionary underground. The game provides an opportunity to understand how difficult it is to choose a particular side in a conflict and how difficult it is to avoid that choice.

The game is based entirely on the imagination of the presenter and players and is played purely verbally. According to the system of rules, the players create characters, determine their strengths and weaknesses, abilities and skills, social status and profession. The facilitator describes what surrounds the players and the situations in which their characters find themselves, and the players, in turn, describe what their characters do and how they react.

An important feature of this game is the absence of rigid goals and victory conditions. The goal of the game is for the players and the host to create a compelling story with player-created characters as the main characters.

The game is suitable for students in schools, universities, as well as for adults.
