Museum lesson "Aboriginal ornamental art

The class is held at the exposition "Traditional Culture of Indigenous Peoples of Khabarovsk Krai" or at the temporary exhibition "Carpets of Priamurye", part of the cycle "Peoples of Priamurye".

On the example of authentic dislocations we will acquaint children with a variety of ornaments, which indigenous peoples of the region decorated household items, hunting tools, clothing. We will study a variety of ornaments - floral, zoomorphic, spiral ribbon, as well as materials and techniques of its performance. Children will also learn that different patterns served not only as a way to decorate things, but also served other functions.
