Museum activity "What it costs us to build a house"

The class takes place in the interactive exhibition "Peasant Farmstead on the Amur" and is part of the "Slavic World" cycle.

From what structures did the city of Khabarovsk begin? Where did the settler peasants come from? How to choose a place for the future house, and what kind of wood to use in the construction? And most importantly, how to build a house without using a single nail? The children will learn about this during the lesson, studying reconstructions and models of different types of houses.

The class is suitable for children from 9 years old.

In the second part of the lesson, the guys will assemble a model hut and check how well they remembered the information.
