Mute Friday art project

"Silent Friday" - an art project, which is loved by many Khabarovsk residents and guests of the city.

It is unique and interesting because the Grodekov Museum exposition "Like in the best houses" becomes an illusion - almost the same as one hundred years ago: the honorable public is shown a black-and-white mute picture, which is accompanied by a tapir playing on an antique piano.

The films of the beginning of the 20th century are selected to match the interior of the auditorium where the screening takes place. And the professional improvisation of the tapestry makes each film session unique!

During the intermission the audience can chat over a cup of tea.
Twice a month at 19:00 we invite you to "Silent Friday" at Grodekovsky. Famous and unknown films of foreign and Russian silent films are waiting for you.
