Exhibition "Handicrafts of the Land of Dersu"

On August 2, Grodekovo Museum opened an exhibition of the regional contest "Handicrafts of the Land of Dersu".

Every year the Ministry of Natural Resources of Khabarovsk Krai holds an annual regional contest "Handicrafts of the Land of Dersu" as part of the celebration of the International Day of Indigenous Peoples. In 2022 the contest is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of V.K. Arsenyev's birth.

The exhibition features more than 130 products made by well-known and novice craftsmen from indigenous peoples living in Khabarovsk Krai. This year, 14 craftsmen from eight municipalities of the region presented their products. Authors of the best works will be awarded by money prizes and special prizes.

Exhibits include traditional robes, fishskin shoes, a set of wedding clothes, souvenir masks, and more!
