The photo exhibition "Gold!" from the Moscow Kremlin Museums opened at Khabarovsk International Airport

Oct. 17

The new exhibit is located on the first floor of the domestic flight terminal in the public area.

The project united photos of 32 exhibits from the exhibition "Gold!" currently on display at the N.I. Grodekov Khabarovsk Krai Museum, which is dedicated to the first precious metal that has taken a special place in the culture and history of mankind.

Eight thematic blocks were selected for the photo exhibition at the airport, each of which demonstrates the skills of jewelers and goldsmiths and presents an amazing variety of their works.

Visitors to the airport will be able to see magnificent images of gold items from the pre-Christian era to the beginning of the 20th century. Each block of images includes the most spectacular items presented at the exhibition, including a charka belonging to Tsar Mikhail Fyodorovich Romanov, decorated with precious stones, an unusually beautiful aromatizer made of gold and rock crystal, or gold coins. Each of them has its own story behind it: for example, one of them, with the nominal value of 2 rubles, decorated with a minted profile of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, was called "Palace" and was used for card games of the Empress. Passengers will also be able to admire photos of elegant accessories of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, such as a purse made of colored gold, which belonged to representatives of the highest part of Russian society.

The photo exhibition will run until the end of 2024.
