The Grodekovo Museum will host the lecture "Historians about Historians"

On September 15, 2023, an open lecture "Historians about Historians" will be held in the conference hall. It is a joint project of the Grodekovo Museum and the Khabarovsk Krai branch of the Russian Historical Society. 

This series of lectures is devoted to the biographies of outstanding representatives of historical science of Khabarovsk Krai in the XX-XXI centuries. Stanislav Slivko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Pedagogy and History of TOGU, will give a lecture on historians N.I. Ryabov and M.G. Shtein. 

In the lecture, Stanislav Vadimovich will review the activities of Nikolai Ivanovich Ryabov and Moisey Grigorievich Shtein and their contribution to the development of the History Department of Khabarovsk State Pedagogical Institute (KSPI).

They made a great contribution to the training of teachers-historians and researchers in the late 1930s-1950s. The sphere of scientific research of N.I. Ryabov and M.G. Shtein was the history of exploration and development of the Russian Far East in the XVII - early XX centuries. The fundamental research in this subject was the joint work of Nikolai Ivanovich and Moisey Grigorievich "Sketches of the History of the Russian Far East in the XVII - early XX centuries".
