Volochaev Days on the Amur River" were held in the Grodekovsky Museum

On June 3-4, "Volochaev Days on the Amur River" took place in the Grodekovo Museum - a series of events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the "Battle of Volochayevskaya Panorama". This panorama is one of the four battle panoramas in Russia and the only one in Siberia and the Far East.
As part of the events, representatives of the Section of Museums - Keepers of Panoramas and Dioramas of the Union of Museums of Russia paid a visit. The delegation included Alexey Dementiev, the Section's coordinator, Director of the Museum-Reserve "Stalingrad Battle", Svetlana Argastseva, Head of the Department of Exposition and Exhibition Work of the Museum-Reserve "Stalingrad Battle", PhD in Art History, Alexey Druzhinin, Leading Researcher of the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the Russian Academy of Arts, PhD in Art History, and Pavel Sapotko, Head of the Department of the Presnya Museum.
On the first day of the "Volochaev Days on the Amur" the guests of our region familiarized themselves with the memorial museum complex "Volochaev Battle" (Jewish Autonomous Region). The round table "Panoramas and dioramas as a tool for studying the history of Russia", which was held in the Grodekovsky Museum, considered the history of panoramic art in Russia and abroad, as well as the issues of memorialization of the history of the Civil and Great Patriotic Wars in the formats of dioramas and panoramas in the USSR and modern Russia.
The second day of the series of events was devoted to familiarizing the guests with expositions and exhibitions of Khabarovsk museums.
At the end of the series of events, the museum guests summarized the results of the "Volochaev Days..." and outlined the main tasks of the Section of museums-keepers of dioramas and panoramas for the next two years.
