The Grodekovo Museum hosted an educational program for students as part of World Youth Day

On November 15, the Grodekovo Museum hosted an educational program dedicated to World Youth Day.
Teams of students from several technical schools and colleges in Khabarovsk took part in the event, including Khabarovsk Technical School of Technosphere Safety, Khabarovsk Road Construction Technical School, Khabarovsk Technical School of Transport Technologies and Khabarovsk Branch of B.G. Yezersky St. Petersburg Civil Aviation University.
Employees of the sector of scientific and methodical work together with the department for social issues of the Khabarovsk city administration committee organized a quiz timed to the 215th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Nikolayevich Muravyov-Amursky, Governor-General of Eastern Siberia, who played a key role in the annexation of the Amur region to the Russian Empire.
The quiz participants not only deepened their knowledge of Muravyov-Amursky's administrative activities, but also learned interesting facts from his biography. Thematic excursions to two halls of the museum were also conducted for the students. Margarita Pozdnyakova told in detail about the main stages of annexation of the Priamursky Krai to Russia and the role of N.N. Muravyov in this process, while Vladimir Skidin revealed the peculiarities of material and spiritual culture of the indigenous peoples of the Khabarovsk Krai.
The students noted that they are always happy to meet with the Grodekovo Museum and expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the event.
