A book about the conquest of the Far East was presented at the Grodekovo Museum

Today the presentation of a new book dedicated to the history of exploration of the Far East took place in the Grodekovsky Museum. The publication was published as part of the historical and educational project "Petersburg-on-Amur" by our friends and partners - ANO "DARIB" together with the publishing house "Fifth Rome" with the support of the Grodekovsky Museum and the branch of the Russian Historical Society in Khabarovsk Krai.
The book tells about the key figures of the region: Count Nikolay Muravyov-Amursky, the Governor-General of Eastern Siberia, and Vladimir Arsenyev, the writer. In addition to the printed edition the team of the project has placed QR pointers in the city in the places connected with the heroes of the book. Having scanned the code, one can go to the website with additional materials: photos, texts and audio podcasts.
Dmitry Shcherbakov, General Director of the Moscow publishing house "Fifth Rome" Dmitry Shcherbakov noted that a large team worked on the creation of the book: artists, designers, editors and researchers.
The online version of the book can already be read at the link (https://pna.darib.ru/contents.html ), and a printed version will soon be available for purchase in the museum store.
