In 2024, the movie "20/22" is coming to the big screen

In 2024, the movie "20/22" - the first feature film dedicated to the events of the special military operation and filmed in the area where it was conducted - will be released on the big screen. Filming on the territory of Mariupol was carried out in the spring of 2023. In the lens of the cameras got impressive shots of the city, changed beyond recognition in the course of recent events. Filming also took place in Moscow, the Moscow region, and the Rostov region. 

The plot of the movie reflects how current events are perceived by the younger generation, what decisions and life choices they are driven to make.

Alice (Daria Kukarskikh) and Danila (Aristarkh Venes) are young lovers whose lives are interrupted by the events of the first months of a special military operation, separating them on different sides of the barricades. On the one hand, Danila's brother finds himself in the zone of the Special Military Operation in the ranks of Russian troops, and the guy goes to volunteer to help his brother. On the other hand, Alice learns about the bombings in Kiev from her Ukrainian friends and opposes the special operation, not accepting her lover's decision. However, when Danila stops contacting her, the girl goes to the SWO zone to search for him.

The main and episodic roles in the movie are played by young artists who have already made a name for themselves at the Russian box office. War correspondents Pavel Chuprin and Semyon Pegov, who played themselves, also took part in the filming.
