A unique collection of the Grodekovsky Museum is exhibited at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk museum

On May 9, the exhibition "Time of Heroes" was opened at the Victory Museum and Memorial Complex.

"Time of Heroes" is an inter-museum exhibition project in which Far Eastern museums - the Military History Museum of the Pacific Fleet, the Primorsky State Art Gallery, the N.I. Grodekov Khabarovsk Territory Museum and the Sakhalin Regional Department of the Russian Search Movement - took part. N.I. Grodekov Museum and Memorial Complex "Pobeda" and the Sakhalin Regional Branch of the Search Movement of Russia.

The exhibition is dedicated to all those who defended and are defending the freedom and independence of our Motherland.

The Grodekovo Museum exhibits a unique collection of posters from the Great Patriotic War. These posters were called the third front, each of them was a kind of a fighter who hit exactly the target.

Nonna Lavrik, Minister of Culture and Archiving of the Sakhalin Oblast, said: 

"The exposition was supplemented with modern history - this is important for us. Our country has always been famous for its heroes and careful attitude to its history. In the Victory Museum today you see this attitude, this love, this pride for your country. I congratulate you!".

The exhibition will be on view through June 23, 2024The exhibition was held with the support of the Sakhalin Oblast Government and the regional Ministry of Culture and Archives.
