The contest of ethno-cultural projects "Virtual Tour of Multinational Russia" was launched

Applications for participation in the III All-Russian Contest of ethno-cultural exhibition projects "Virtual Tour of Multinational Russia" have started to be accepted. Participants' works are accepted until September 30.

Initiative groups of citizens, representatives of non-profit organizations, state budgetary and municipal institutions engaged in exhibition and cultural and leisure activities are invited to participate.

To participate, you should make a video of a virtual tour of an ethnocultural exhibition with a duration of no more than 10 minutes. The video should reveal the idea of the exhibition or ethnocultural museum. The creators can show a separate exhibit, conduct a tour, or creatively present the exhibition material.

Winners will be chosen in the categories "Best exhibition project of a museum", "Best exhibition project of a non-profit or budgetary organization", "Best exhibition project of an initiative group" and others.

There will also be a spectator award. It will be awarded to the person for whom the most viewers vote.

The best videos will be posted on the Resource Environment video channel. The winners will participate in a telethon with a creative presentation of the exhibition projects on the First Russian National Channel.

"It is important for me as an expert that people are invested in preserving national traditions, customs. The desire to transmit national culture, to preserve it and develop it, is very valuable. Thanks to this contest, I was able to meet with the real devotees who create expositions sometimes even at home," says Evgenia Mikhaleva, co-chair of the project's Expert Council, Director of the Resource Center.

This year the contest will be held within the framework of the socially significant project "Telethon of ethno-cultural exhibition projects "Virtual Tour of Multinational Russia", which is supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
