Stanislav Slivko will give a lecture on Prof. Tatiana Ikonnikova

December 20 at 13:00 in the conference hall of the Grodekovsky Museum will be held an open lecture "Historians about historians".
Stanislav Vadimovich Slivko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Higher School of Pedagogy and History of TOGU, will give a lecture about Dr. Tatiana Yakovlevna Ikonnikova, Doctor of Historical Sciences.
Tatyana Yakovlevna Ikonnikova has been training scientific and pedagogical staff in history for more than 30 years, including 28 years as Head of the Department of Russian History (former USSR History). Tatiana Yakovlevna developed special courses, seminars, and methodological recommendations for students, and actively participated in the preparation of programs on the history of Russia and the history of the Far East in the new and modern times.
Tatyana's areas of scientific interest were the economic and political development of the Far East during the World Wars. Thus, she defended her candidate's thesis in 1983 on the topic "Collective Farms of the Far East of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War", and in 1999 she finished her doctoral work "The Far Eastern Home Front during the First World War, 1914-1918".
The lecture hall "Historians about Historians" is a joint project of the Grodekovo Museum and the Khabarovsk Krai branch of the Russian Historical Society. This series of lectures is devoted to the biographies of outstanding representatives of historical science of Khabarovsk Krai in the XX-XXI centuries.
