Presentation of "RIVER" collection at the exhibition-festival "I.K.R.A."

Within the framework of the unique project "It's all about fish" on the basis of the exhibition-festival "I.K.R.A." (Ideas of Creative Development of the Amur River) the long-awaited presentation of the new collection "RIVER" from the studio "Krylia" took place. This event became a bright accent of the cultural program and attracted the attention of fashion and art lovers.

The founders and designers of the "Wings" studio, Tatiana Vasilieva and Denis Burlakov, shared their impressions: "We are a creative tandem of professionals. Fashion for us is our favorite business, our business, our life".

Their Far East brand of clothing and accessories has already established itself at international fashion weeks, as well as partners of the project "It's All About the Fish" and experts of the Museum Design Lab.

For several months, the designers immersed themselves in the ethnographic collection of the Grodekovsky Museum, studying the collections and consulting the residents of the Museum Design Laboratory. The result of their work was the RIVER collection, which combines contemporary fashion with Far Eastern authenticity. When creating the collection, the designers drew inspiration from the 1970s era and luxury bohemian style, imagining how hippies might have looked on the banks of the Amur River.

The "RIVER" collection presents 50 images including more than 80 items of clothing made of various materials - from silk to velvet. Special attention is paid to the author's prints for fabrics based on the Amutega women's Udegean robe made of fish skin from the early 20th century. Inspirational elements of traditional ornaments are also present in hand and machine embroidery.

The show also included works by residents of the Museum Design Laboratory - jewelry by Oksana Galdan and accessories by Andrei Ganin in ethno-style.
