The results of the History of the Fatherland Foundation's project competitions have been summarized

Grodekovsky Museum partners with two winners of the competitions:

The Association of Museums of Khabarovsk Krai together with our museum and the Khabarovsk Krai branch of the Russian Historical Society are organizing the III Far Eastern Historical and Museum Forum dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The Forum will take place in September 2025. It includes an educational workshop for museum workers of the Far East "Museum Kitchen 5.0: How to Work with Anniversary Dates..." (the request of society and authorities Vs. the response of the museum community)" and a scientific session "The Far Eastern Final of the Second World War: The Final of the Russian Abroad?". The session will include a round table devoted to the problems of studying World War II and the role of the Russian Diaspora in the events of the war years, new approaches to the study of the heritage of the Russian emigration in the Asia-Pacific countries, as well as the presentation of research programs on the history of the Russian emigration in the Asia-Pacific region and museum projects to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Russian Diaspora.

LLC "Bestseller" together with the Grodekovsky Museum and the branch of the Russian Historical Society in Khabarovsk Krai is preparing for publication a scientific monograph by I.V. Kryukov "Preparation of combat reserves in the Far East of the USSR during the Second World War (1939-1945)".

This is the first generalizing work on this subject. Based on a wide range of sources (including previously unpublished ones), the book traces the main stages of formation and changes in the system of military reserve training among the Far Eastern population. The author shows the relationship between the intensification of interstate tensions in the Asia-Pacific region and the increase in the level of training of military reserves in the Far East in the 1930s, and the gradual militarization of public organizations for work with the population.

The book will be released in the second half of 2025.
