Opening of the Museum Academy at the Grodekovsky Museum!

On September 24, the opening ceremony of the Museum Academy took place at the Khabarovsk Krai Museum! Traditionally, the opening is timed to coincide with the birthday of the museum founder Nikolai Ivanovich Grodekov. The opening ceremony was attended by the staff of the Museum and Cultural Center and the sector of scientific and methodological work, as well as students and teachers of Gymnasium № 3 in Khabarovsk. This is already the 21st enrollment in the Museum Academy!

During the event the students immersed into the epoch of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries and got acquainted with the townspeople of different estates of Khabarovsk: merchant, peasant, noblemen. The leading methodologist of the museum Zyl Svetlana Timofeevna revealed the peculiarities of training in the Museum Academy, characterized the main forms of work with students. At the end the students together with the staff of the Grodekovo Museum sang the anthem of the institution!

We congratulate the tenth graders on joining the Museum Academy and wish them creative victories, as well as new scientific achievements!

About the Museum Academy:

The first enrollment in the Museum Academy took place in 2003. Within the Museum Academy, students study the main stages of exploration and development of the Russian Far East in the second half of the 19th - early 21st centuries. Museum lessons, lectures and excursions are organized for students, as well as scientific research and introduction to historical science.
