New directions of the grant competition and 17 traditional spiritual and moral values in the projects: PFCI opened the call for applications for the second 2025 competition

The application campaign for the new contest of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives has started in Russia. Applications are accepted from December 17 to February 6 inclusive on the website fundculturalinitiatives.rf. This is the second grant competition of the FICCI for the implementation of projects from 2025, the results of the first one will be announced by the end of December.
One of the important innovations of the new grant "wave" is the change of thematic directions. From the second competition of the 2025 TFGP, authors of creative projects can submit applications in 12 areas: "Unity with the destiny of Russia", "We are together", "Nation of creators", "Multinational people", "Moral guidelines", "Strong family", "Our strength in truth", "On guard of the Fatherland", "Young leaders", "Country of opportunities", "Cultural code", "Place of power".
Another innovation is that a special block will be added to the application form of the CFCP, where participants will have to mark which of the 17 traditional values the application corresponds to. They are specified in the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 809 - "Fundamentals of State Policy for Preserving and Strengthening Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values". The document includes life, dignity, human rights and freedoms, patriotism, citizenship, service to the Fatherland and responsibility for its fate, high moral ideals, strong family, creative labor, priority of spiritual over material, humanism, mercy, justice, collectivism, mutual assistance and mutual respect, historical memory and continuity of generations, unity of the peoples of Russia.
"It is important that the authors of creative projects are in a common system of value coordinates, accept our traditional moral values, and transmit them through their projects. This is the answer to the question we are often asked at meetings in different cities of the country - what the projects should be about, what meanings they should carry. It seems very important to us that all 17 values are present in the applications, because every year tens of thousands of creative teams work with them, for whom they are both a reference point and an answer to many questions concerning the content of the project," comments Roman Karmanov, General Director of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
From the second grant competition in 2025, authors of creative projects will be able to use the opportunity to sign the application with an electronic signature. In addition, from 2025, a new area of work of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives will be launched - quality assessment of projects already implemented with grant support.
To assist in the preparation of applications for the PFCI grant competition, a webinar will be held on the day of the competition launch on the Foundation's resources; it will be conducted by Roman Karmanov, General Director of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives; you can join the broadcast from 10.00 Moscow time. Methodological guidelines for creating a socio-cultural project and budget for the application, a checklist, educational webinars have been developed, and a series of educational podcasts have been released. The Foundation recommends that you familiarize yourself with the Regulations of the new contest before you start the application process. Also on December 17, in the cities where the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives operates, in-person events will be held to develop creative projects and training in grant application writing: lectures, workshops, seminars and case sessions. Among them: Lugansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Mari El, Pskov, Tyumen, Veliky Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Khanty-Mansiysk, Salekhard, Orel, Voronezh, Belgorod, Stary Oskol, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Saratov.
For the start of the new grant competition, the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives is launching a chatbot where each participant will be able to get up-to-date answers to many questions, including those related to filling out applications. The AI assistant is available in Telegram, @PFKI_bot, and it will be available 24 hours a day. At the same time, the analysis of complex situations or questions that the bot could not answer can still be addressed to the specialists of the Fund's contact center at +7 (495) 150-50-15.
The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives was established on the proposal of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, announced on April 21, 2021 during his address to the Federal Assembly, and carries out its activities on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 17, 2021 № 287 "On the establishment of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives".
