Large families in Russia can confirm the relevant status by showing a QR code from their personal account at the "Gosuservices" portal.

Such an order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The option is available as part of an experiment which runs from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025. The authorities are using it to test, among other things, the display of a large family certificate in a personal account on "Gosusluga". This document is necessary to receive benefits.

"The tasks of the experiment are: approbation of the mechanism of using the information confirming the status of a large family by means of presentation of a two-dimensional bar code (QR code), which allows to check the information on attribution of a citizen to a member of a large family," the text of the document says.

The list of available benefits will expand - each region will determine it itself. The ID card of a large family can be downloaded on "Gosuslugi" in the "Documents" section. It will appear as an image of the document on both sides and a QR code. The latter can be displayed on the screen of a smartphone or printed out.
