International meeting of the Youth Club of the Russian Historical Society in Moscow

From July 3 to July 6, 2024 in Moscow was held the International meeting of the Youth Club of the Russian Historical Society. The Grodekovsky Museum and the Khabarovsk Branch of the Russian Historical Society were represented by methodologist of the scientific and methodological work sector Kulakov Evgeny Sergeevich.

More than 50 people from 21 regions of Russia, as well as the Republic of Belarus, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan took part in the Conference.

On July 4, the program began with welcoming remarks by Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Science, and Stepan Orlov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Duma. Afterwards, Ruslan Gagkuev, Chairman of the RIO Board, Doctor of Historical Sciences, met with the participants of the Meeting. Also at the RIO House, experts gave lectures on supporting the historical society in Novorossiya and digital humanities.

On July 5 in the Academic Council Hall of RSUHU a round table dedicated to the "10th anniversary of the Russian Spring in Donbass in Russia and the world" and a master class on "history in the media" took place.

A wide cultural program was included for the participants, which included excursions to the Moscow Printing Court and Kitay-Gorod, as well as to the House of the Russian Historical Society. The meeting became a place of active interaction between the regions on the prospects of scientific cooperation.
