Lecture hall "Historians about historians".

May 27

On June 02, 2023 Grodekovsky Museum begins an open lecture series "Historians about Historians", which is a joint project of Grodekovsky Museum and the Department of the Russian Historical Society in Khabarovsk Krai. A series of lectures are devoted to the biographies of outstanding representatives of the Khabarovsk Krai historical science of the XX-XXI centuries. A lecture "The Beginning of the Historical Science. Dalistpart" will be delivered by Stanislav Slivko, Associate Professor of the Pedagogical Institute of TPU, Candidate of Historical Sciences.

The lecture "The Beginning of Historical Science. Dalistpart" covers the formation of Soviet historical science in the Far East of Russia in the 1920s-1930s. Slivko S.V. assigns an important role to the work of the Dalistpart (Historical and Party Department of the Dal-Bureau of the Central Committee of the RCP(b), and later the DalKraikom VKP(b)) to study the history of revolutionary movement, the Civil War and intervention in the Far East of Russia in 1922-1939 years.

As a regional department of Istspart, a research institution which was engaged in the collection, storage, scientific processing and publication of materials on the history of the Communist Party and the October Revolution, Dalistpart was an integral part of Soviet historical science, reflecting the process of its development in those years. Merits of G. A. Muchnik, A. P. Stankevich, A. P. Shurygin, S. A. Tsypkin and other workers of Dalistpart in the study of problems of the initial stage of Soviet historiography are noted.
