LECTURE ON DOCTOR OF HISTORICAL SCIENCES YURI TSIPKIN

Open lecture "Historians about historians" will be held on February 26 at 15:00 in the conference hall of the Grodekovsky Museum.
The lecture will be dedicated to Yuri Nikolaevich Tsipkin, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of National History of the Far Eastern State University. The lecturer is Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian State University of Economics Tatyana Ornatskaya.
Yuri Nikolayevich Tsipkin has been engaged in scientific and pedagogical activities for more than 30 years in the KHMI and DVGU. The spheres of scientific interest of Yuri Nikolaevich were the history of confrontation between Bolshevik and counter-revolutionary forces in the Far East during the Revolution and the Civil War. Thus, the candidate's thesis was prepared in 1983 on the topic "Agitation and propaganda activities of the Bolsheviks of the Far East in the White Guard troops: 1920-1922". "In 1998 he defended his work "The White Movement in the Russian Far East and its collapse, 1920-1922". In addition, Yuri Nikolaevich wrote the following monographs: "Non-Bolshevik alternatives for the development of the Russian Far East during the Civil War (1917-1922)", "Anti-Bolshevik regimes in the Russian Far East during the Civil War, 1917-1922" and others.
The lecture hall is a joint project of the Grodekovsky Museum and the Khabarovsk Krai branch of the Russian Historical Society. This series of lectures is devoted to the biographies of outstanding representatives of historical science of Khabarovsk Krai in the XX-XXI centuries.
