Cultural cooperation: Ivan Kryukov at important meetings in Chechnya and Moscow

From October 14 to 20, 2024, Ivan Kryukov, General Director of the Grodekovo Museum, took part in the All-Russian project "Museum Routes of Russia", which was held in the Chechen Republic.

In Chechnya, Ivan Kryukov attended open lectures, a project analysis session and a plenary session. He met with R. V. Milkiev, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic, to discuss cultural interaction with cultural institutions in Khabarovsk Krai. Also met with Z. Mamayeva, Director of the Museum of the Chechen Republic, and Abdul-Vahab Akhmadovich, Director of the A.A. Kadyrov Memorial Complex of Glory, to discuss joint exhibition projects.

In Moscow, the Director General of Grodekovsky visited the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia and the State Historical Museum, familiarizing himself with exhibitions dedicated to important events and personalities in the country's history. Meetings included a discussion of the Blue Bird exhibition with Moscow Art Theatre Museum Director P. E. Vashchilin and plans for exhibitions in 2025-2026 with the Directors of the Department of Publishing and Special Programs of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the Leo Tolstoy State Museum and the State Central Museum of Modern History of Russia.

These visits were a significant step towards strengthening intercultural ties and developing joint exhibition projects between Russian museums.
