A movie marathon "Victorious Together" in Khabarovsk

The film marathon of the prize-winning films of the Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival "Victorious Together" continues. Regular screenings of films will be held in Khabarovsk from 18 to 21 April at several venues. These documentaries have already been appreciated by the audience in Volgograd, Kazan, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Moscow and Moscow region, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Stavropol and Chelyabinsk. University students in these cities actively attended the screenings, participating in discussions of the films they saw and writing reviews, which demonstrates the genuine interest of young people in documentary film, which is inextricably linked to history and the preservation of historical memory.  

Over the past few years, there has been an increased demand for non-fiction films, largely due to the International Film Festival "Victorious Together," which is held annually by the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio together with the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

From April 18 to 21, 2023 prize-winning films of the XVII Film Festival "Victorious Together" will be shown in Khabarovsk with the assistance of the Minister of Culture of Khabarovsk Krai Y. Yermoshkin and the Minister of Education and Science of Khabarovsk Krai V. Khlebnikova. Organization of the show in Khabarovsk was assisted by V. Z. Khidirov, member of the Public Chamber and member of the council on interethnic relations under the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai; O. V. Pavlenko, vice-rector for creative, social, and educational work of Khabarovsk State Institute of Culture; E. V. Shaduya, Deputy Minister of Vocational Education; Yu. Mshvildadze, Head of Coordination center for forming an active civil position in youth, prevention of interethnic and inter-religious conflicts, counteraction to terrorism ideology and prevention of extremism of PNSU A.N. Baturinets, Deputy Dean for educational and extracurricular work of Institute of Economics and Management of PNSU S.N. Salomatova, Deputy Director General of Khabarovsk regional Grodekov museum N.A. Markova, museum methodologist D.V. Zemlyankin, Deputy Director General of Dalnevostochny regional museum of the North-West Federal University

The program in Pacific State University includes daily screenings with April 18-21, beginning at 1:50 p.m.

April 18 Khabarovsk filmmaker Albert Samoilov will show his film "And one is a warrior in the field." about the Ainu, an indigenous people of the Far East.

April 19 a film will be shown "Democratic Fascism." The film, directed by Tatiana Borsch, tells about the origins of Fascism and Nazism and about the forms Nazism and Fascism take in the modern world. 

April 20 viewers will see the work of Grigory Kurdyaev "Against the Current." - a few weeks in the life of a young 19-year-old Paralympian, Andrei Filippov, a master of sport in swimming for the blind. 

April 21 War correspondents Maxim Fadeev and Sergei Belous will present their film "Ghosts. Soldiers of the Forgotten War. Viewers will see three years of war through the eyes of "Ghost" battalion fighters, who hold the defense in the village of Donetsk in the LNR, where the war, forgotten by many, has not subsided for seven years.

В Khabarovsk Institute of Culture There will be screenings and discussions April 19 5 films: Festival Grand Prix "The Denazification of Germany. Is the Process Successful?" by French director Michael Gamrasny about today's Germany and the extent to which Nazism has been eradicated in that country; "Quartet." Nikita Stashkevich about a music teacher who does not stop teaching children in Donetsk under fire; Alexander Kalashnikov's "Tango with Balalaika" about musician Sergey Mayorov and the love of his life - the Russian balalaika; "Georgy Sviridov. Time, Stop!" Elena Dubkova about the famous Russian composer; "And one is a warrior in the field."Albert Samoilov.

В The Grodekov Museum of Khabarovsk Krai shows will be held April 20. At 11:00 the audience will see the film "War Exposition." of director Vladimir Sidorenko about the combat way and fate of the frontline cameramen of the Great Patriotic War, and at 14:00 - the film"The Denazification of Germany. Is the Process Successful?" Mikael Garmasni. Both works will be presented by Valery Fomin, the author of the screenplay "Exposition of War" and film historian.

April 19 Director Georgy Kurdyaev will show his picture "Against the Current.

All films are winners of the XVII Vladimir Menshov International Film Festival "Victory Together". 

V. Potemkin, journalist, theater critic, director, screenwriter, producer, author and presenter of television programs (TRK "Petersburg"), lecturer at St. Petersburg State Institute of Cinema and Television, head of the department of television directing and television journalism, associate professor of interdisciplinary studies and practices in the arts will conduct master classes for students of Khabarovsk universities.
