Catalog of the Archeological Collections of Vladimir Arsenyev goes on sale

The assortment of the Grodekov Museum store was added to the catalog "Archeological collection of V. K. Arseniev from the collection of the Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N. I. Grodekov. N. I. Grodekov".

In 2022 Grodekovo museum realized the issue of the first catalog of archeological collections, gathered by Vladimir Klavdievich during his expeditions in the Far East of Russia, in the framework of the jubilee celebrations.

The catalog consists of two main sections: the first is represented by the collections assembled personally by Vladimir Klavdievich, and the second includes the collections that came into the collections during Arseniev's work as director of the museum. From each collection a selection was made of the most interesting and revealing items: about 400 in all.

The publication is intended for historians, archaeologists, museum workers, and readers interested in the history and archaeology of the Far East.
