Ivan Kryukov took part in the II All-Russian Omsk Local Lore Forum
From October 28 to November 3 the General Director of the Grodekov Museum Ivan Kryukov traveled to Omsk to participate in the II All-Russian Omsk Local History Forum. Ivan Kryukov traveled to Omsk to participate in the II All-Russian Omsk Local Lore Forum.
At the forum, Ivan Kryukov took part in the plenary session of the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "VII Yadrintsev Readings", where topical problems of modern state local lore were discussed. He also attended the working group meeting of the Interregional Innovation Project "Museum and Local History", which facilitated the exchange of experience and ideas between the participants.
During the business trip, Ivan Kryukov visited several significant cultural institutions in Omsk. He familiarized himself with exhibitions at the M.A. Vrubel Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts, including "Peter the Great and His Epoch. From the Collection of the State Hermitage", "To Own a Valuable Treasure..." and "Japan. The Beauty of Everyday Life." He also visited the Omsk State Museum of Local History, where he saw the exhibitions "From the Visible to the Invisible", "Strong Ring" and the exhibition of precious metals and numismatics - Münzkabinet. In addition, he was interested in the expositions of the Ethnopark Museum of Fairy Tales "Vasin Khutor" and materials of the Center for the Study of the History of the Civil War.
As part of the business trip, important meetings with colleagues took place. With F.M. Bureeva, Director of the M.A. Vrubel Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts, and T.V. Gruzdova, Chief Curator, issues of cooperation and restoration of museum objects were discussed. With A.V. Rubshev, Acting Director of the Novosibirsk Local History Museum, issues of cross cooperation for 2026 were discussed and a cooperation agreement was signed. A cooperation agreement was also signed with P.P. Vibe, Director of the Omsk State Museum of History and Local Lore, and the prospects of joint exhibition projects were discussed.
Ivan Kryukov's trip was an important step towards strengthening ties between museums and developing new joint initiatives, which will certainly contribute to enriching museum life and increasing interest in local history in Russia.
