Ivan Kryukov visited St. Petersburg to participate in the forum

On September 10, the Director General of the Grodekovsky Museum paid a working visit to St. Petersburg. The purpose of the business trip was to take part in the Tenth International Cultural Forum (X Forum of United Cultures) "Culture of the XXI Century: Sovereignty or Globalism?".

The forum was held from September 11 to 14. Ivan Kryukov attended the panel discussion "Towards Eurasian Partnership" and the round table "Museums in Historical Buildings. Mechanism of preservation of cultural heritage and formation of national identity".

In addition to participating in the Forum, the Director General of the Grodekovsky Museum made a report on the state of protection of state and municipal museums at the general meeting of the Union of Museums of Russia. On the same day, an award ceremony was held, where Ivan Kryukov was presented with the badge of honor "For Merit to the Museum Community" - the highest award of the Union of Museums of Russia. It is awarded for a special contribution to the work of the country's museum community and for promoting the development and qualitative improvement of museums' activities.

The Director General then joined the strategic session of the Association of Historical and Military History Museums, attending the panel discussion "Strategy of Museum Community Development in 2025" and the awarding of active participants of the international project "Territory of Victory" in 2024.

During the visit, the Director General met with the heads of federal museums and reached agreements on cooperation in joint exhibition projects.
