IV All-Russian interview contest "Victory Railroads"

In the year of the Defender of the Fatherland and as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Sverdlovsk Railway holds the All-Russian contest of video clips "Railways of Victory".
Railroads today are kilometers of highways connecting the most remote corners of our vast country, and during the Great Patriotic War railroads saved millions of people.
For three years, more than 400 teenagers and mentors from 34 regions from Ussuriysk to Volnovakha took part in the Contest; about 200 contest videos and interviews were filmed, the best of which became part of the almanac. The uniqueness of the Contest is that its inspirer Veronika Novikova and the developers of the website are teenagers themselves. Veronika writes texts for the site, moderates the databases, applies for grants, gives advice to the contestants, invites media experts and interviews them. Also as a result of the first contest, together with her mentor, the schoolgirl filmed an hour-long program "Victory Railroads", which was aired on May 9.
The mission of the contest is to keep the memory alive
about the exploits of our compatriots.
Objective: to tell about the fates and exploits of people who worked on the railroads during the war with the help of video interviews.
The Contest is open to schoolchildren from 10 to 18 years old. Individual and group works are accepted. You can apply
March 24 through April 30, 2025 (inclusive) on the official website at https://железныедорогипобеды.рф.
