Khabarovsk met famous writers

August 1 marked the start of the project "Reading August" as part of the festival "Book Beacons of Russia". On August 17, the book expedition came to Khabarovsk.
The festival in Khabarovsk kicked off with a plenary session in the House of Official Receptions of the Khabarovsk Krai Government. The program of the meeting was attended by: Denis Kotov, President of the Festival Movement "Book Beacons of Russia", fiction writer Sergey Lukyanenko and others, including Ivan Kryukov, General Director of the Grodekovo Museum. The topic of discussion was the problem of integrated development of reading infrastructure and federal event activity in the regions participating in the Project.
At the end of the plenary session, six literary, artistic and intellectual platforms for readers of all interests and ages began to work.
At 18:15, the Grodekovsky Museum hosted a historical session with historian and writer Andrei Burovsky. The participants of the meeting learned what prompted the academic scientist to popularize history, what is included in the creative laboratory of a modern writer-publicist, and 57 published books - is it a lot or not enough?
