Grodekovo Museum continues to strengthen creative ties with museums in Russia

On December 6, 2022, within the framework of integration of Donbass into the cultural space of Russia, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Khabarovsk Regional Museum n.a. N.I. Grodekov and the Art Museum "Art-Donbass" of Donetsk. N.I. Grodekov and the Art Museum "Art-Donbass" of Donetsk.

The document was signed by Ivan Kryukov, director of the Grodekovo Museum, and Ekaterina Kalinichenko, director of the Art-Donbass Art Museum.

According to the agreement, the two sides pledged to strengthen and expand cultural ties, educational, outreach, and advisory activities. 

The heads of the museums met personally in autumn in St. Petersburg at a meeting of the Union of Museums of the Russian Federation, where the first agreements on joint activities were made. In 2021 both museums won the International Project "Territory of Victory" in the nomination "Cultural Heritage" organized by the Victory Museum in Moscow.  

Very soon, visitors to the Grodekovo Museum will get acquainted with the works of artists from Donbass, and viewers of the Donetsk Art Museum will see new online projects provided by our staff.
