Grodekovo Museum won the contest of projects of the History of the Fatherland Foundation

The commission approved applications for the contest of projects of the "History of the Fatherland" Foundation. Grodekovsky's team proposed the idea of implementing the exhibition "Volochayev Days" and the Far Eastern Historical and Museum Forum.
Exhibition "Volochayev Days" and the Far Eastern Historical and Museum Forum will be held in May with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Khabarovsk region, KNOTOK, Pedagogical Institute of Talas State University and Branch of the Russian Historical Society in the Khabarovsk region.
- The exhibition "Volochayev Days" is dedicated to the events of February 1922 near the June-Koran hill - the battle between the White Army and the People's Revolutionary Army of the Far Eastern Republic, the battle that marked the beginning of the end of the Civil War in Russia.
A lot was written about the "Volochayev days" in Soviet times. In 1975, the only panorama in Siberia and the Far East, telling about the battle in the language of myth and revolutionary epic, was opened in our museum. However, only now we can as objectively as possible, without falling into ideological extremes, restore in detail the chronology and factual side of the events of that time, relying on documents, photographs and objects.
- The Far Eastern Historical and Museum Forum is a significant event for the museum and scientific communities of the region. According to the plan of the organizers, the forum will include two parts: a seminar-workshop for the museum workers of the Far East "Museum Kitchen 3.0: War. Patriotism. Museum View 2022" (preservation of tangible and intangible heritage of military history of Russia. How and What to Say about the War?) and the scientific session "The Civil War in Russia: from Study to Reflection.
The program director and moderator of the seminar - well-known museum expert L. Kopylov, president of the Friends of the Anna Akhmatova Museum at the Fountain House; moderator of the scientific session - Dr. R. G. Gagkuev, Deputy Executive Director of the "History of the Fatherland" Foundation, leading researcher of the Center of Military History of Russia at the Institute of Russian History, Russian Academy of Sciences.
