A grandiose project is being prepared at the Grodekov Museum

March 29

During 2020-2022 Ivan Kryukov, director general of the Grodekovo Museum, negotiated with Elena Gagarina, director general of the Moscow Kremlin Museums about organizing the exhibition "Alexander II: Liberator and Reformer" from the collection of the Moscow Kremlin Museums in Khabarovsk in 2023. The exhibition will be dedicated to Emperor Alexander II and the anniversary of the establishment of the border between the Russian Empire and the Qing Empire in the Amur region.

Negotiations were successful and we are already planning to open this exhibition this year. The artistic solution of the exhibition project has already been developed by the designer Anna Ershova. This week Ivan Kryukov presented the finished design project to Elena Gagarina.

More than 50 exhibits have been selected for the exhibition, which presents the emperor as the initiator of radical changes, some of which will be on display for the first time.

It is assumed that the exhibition will consist of five sections, which will make it possible to recreate the image of the man who carried out the greatest reforms, in some ways ahead of his time.
