Large-scale preparations for the sixth annual International Patriotic Action "Victory Dictation" are underway in Russia's regions

April 26, 2024 The International Patriotic Action "Victory Dictation" will be held in all regions of Russia to attract Russians and foreign citizens to the study of Russia's military history and its heroic past.

The Victory Dictation has been held annually since 2019 on the initiative of the Organizing Committee "OUR WINNER", so that everyone could test their knowledge of the events of 1941-1945.

The patriotic action is organized by United Russia together with the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society and the All-Russian Public Movement "Volunteers of Victory" with the support of Rosobrnadzor, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, and the Russian Union of Veterans.

In preparation for the Victory Dictation March 20, 2024 on sites seven The presentation of digital excursions and exhibition projects dedicated to the decisive battles and landmark events of the Great Patriotic War: the Nuremberg Tribunal, the partisan movement, as well as the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus, Crimea, Polar region, the complete lifting of the siege of Leningrad and the beginning of the liberation mission of the Red Army in Europe.

Exhibitions and digital tours were presented at the Donetsk Republican Museum of Local Lore, Art-Donbass Art Museum in Donetsk, Museum of the History of Starchenkovo Village (DNR), Lugansk Museum of Local Lore, Krasnodon Museum of the Order of Friendship of Peoples "Young Guard" (LNR), Sverdlovsk City Museum of Local Lore (LNR) and Berdyansk Museum of History, Local Lore and Art (Zaporizhzhya Oblast).

Also, in preparation for the Victory Dictation. in all federal districts started Open lecturewhich provides for the conduct of ten weekly thematic lectures on events and battles in 1944. The lectures will be held offline from March to April 2024 for all comers in the Victory Museum, 14 museums participating in the International Project "Territory of Victory" and the Association of Historical and Military History Museums.

Thus, museum visitors will have an opportunity to prepare themselves for participation in the Victory Dictation.

Exhibition projects, digital tours and materials for the lectures of the Open Lecture Hall are prepared by the Victory Museum.
