Young people will be able to complete all stages of the work involved in studying an archaeological site!
The school participants will also listen to lectures on the history and archeology of the Khabarovsk Krai, visit thematic excursions, diversify their leisure time and even pass the initiation into archeology.
The project participants will be students and children of high school age from Khabarovsk, Vyazemsky, Sheremetyevo village. Sheremetyevo.
EXHIBITION FOR THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE BAIKAL-AMUR MAINLINE
The exhibition project will tell the story of BAM as a history of records and special statistics. The railroad ran in conditions of exceptional geography (high seismicity and permafrost, 7 mountain ranges, 11 major rivers), which forced the use of new technologies and techniques. Engineering structures (8 tunnels, 1242 bridges, viaducts, etc.) constitute 30% of the entire highway.
Therefore, BAM is first and foremost an engineering project. Many innovative technical solutions were implemented here, some of which were not repeated anywhere else. There are many records - the longest tunnel, the highest railroad bridge, the use of aviation in construction and many others. Such engineering solutions, "records", will be emphasized at the exhibition.
The history of BAM is the history of domestic technology.
The traveling exhibition will be prepared in a new artistic format in the form of large box-books (6 boxes, 12 tablets), which, when folded, can be easily transported without additional packing in crates. The presentation of the exhibition will take place on October 1, the day of laying the "golden link". The exhibition includes a methodical development of the lesson "Construction of the Century". Using this material on the basis of the exhibition it is possible to hold a history lesson, as well as a lecture. The traveling exhibition can be used for familiarization without a guide, placing it in the school foyer, for example, for a few days. The exhibition will work in schools and universities of Khabarovsk, as well as within the framework of the regional festival "Amurfest" for all comers. In the future it is planned to organize the work of the exhibition in municipal districts of Khabarovsk Krai.
Congratulations to our colleagues on the victory! Follow the information in social networks and on the official website of the Grodekovsky Museum!
