Lecture hall "Historians about historians".

April 27

On April 25, 2024 the N.I. Grodekov Museum of Fine Arts hosted an open lecture "Historians about Historians", which is a joint project of the Grodekov Museum and the Branch of the Russian Historical Society in Khabarovsk Krai. This series of lectures is devoted to biographies of outstanding representatives of historical science of Khabarovsk Krai in XX - XXI centuries. The lecture on historians-archivists was delivered by Natalia Bendik, Candidate of Historical Sciences, General Director of Business-Archive LLC.

In her lecture Natalia Nikolaevna highlighted the main stages of the life path of famous historians-archivists: Vera Chernysheva, Dolma Tsybiktarova, Zinaida Karpenko and Vasily Golionko. In addition to extensive activities on the development of archival work in Khabarovsk Krai and the Far East, they were also engaged in scientific research. Thus, Vera Ivanovna wrote articles on the history of the Far East and, in particular, the city of Khabarovsk. Dolma Saltyzhetepovna actively participated in the preparation of books and compilations on the history of the Far East in the era of revolutionary transformations and the reconstruction period after the Civil War. Zinaida Leonidovna's scientific interests were expressed in her monograph "The Civil War in the Far Eastern Territory". Vasily Petrovich published more than 60 works, the most famous of which are "Sketches of the revolutionary movement in Primorye" and "In the fire of struggle".

In addition to scientific and administrative work, historians-archivists were actively engaged in public education: they gave lectures and gave talks on the history of Khabarovsk Krai and the Far East.
