Contest of local historians working with young people - 2022

On February 10 the competition for teachers of schools, teachers of additional education, workers of cultural institutions and representatives of non-profit organizations was launched.

The contest aims to support the best practices of teaching and popularizing the history of the small motherland among children and youth.

The organizers of the contest are the Russian Historical Society and the foundation "History of the Fatherland". The functions of the organizing committee of the contest are entrusted to the Board of the Foundation "History of the Fatherland".

Teachers of schools and teachers of additional education, employees of cultural institutions, representatives of the non-profit sector are invited to participate in the competition. The subject of the competition is the achievements of participants in the field of patriotic education and historical education of young people.

The thematic areas of this year's competition:
- "History and Ethnology of the Native Land."
- "Cultural Identity and Heritage of the Peoples of the Small Motherland;
- "Monuments of the history and culture of my region."
- "My Land is a Land of Labor Valor and Glory."
- "Tourist trails of the native land.

The project is implemented in eight federal districts of our country. According to the results of the competitive selection from each federal district, three (3) finalists are determined between whom the prize fund established by the organizers of the competition is distributed.
