The exhibition "BALGI-NIMA. THE JOY OF LIFE"

On February 21, the grand opening of the exhibition of paintings and graphics by Baljinima Dorzhiev, Honored Artist of Buryatia, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, will take place. The exhibition is organized on the initiative and at the expense of the artist's friends and admirers of his work - Roman Avilov (project "Zagreb. Khabarovsk", "Breindo", etc.) and Emilia Khmelenko (project "Limonart").

The exhibition "BALJINIMA. Joy of Life" is 50 paintings (canvas, oil) + 12 works in graphics (Chinese paper, ink) created by Baljinima Dorzhiev in his studio in Ulan-Ude. Genre painting, portraits, landscapes, still lifes - all in the author's recognizable manner.

One can really feel the joy of life at the exhibition. The high sky and bright sun of Buryatia, the variegated grass of the steppe, the authentic color of national costumes, the freshness of dazzling snow, the inexhaustible generosity of nature, the unity of the elements - on the one hand. And on the other - the warmth of childhood memories, love for nature, for animals, happiness to be here, to see and feel, to inhale the smells of cut grass and count the leaves on the tree, which for some reason seems magical.

This exhibition is about Buryatia (since 2018 - part of the Far Eastern Federal District), and about the author's amazingly bright nature, his ability to be happy in his work and to transmit this feeling to others, and about each of us - it is not difficult to find something close and dear in Baljinima's works, because it is there.
