Exhibition "Let's go!" from the funds of the Russian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, Moscow

The first space flight became a symbol of great human capabilities, breadth of scientific and technical thought and creative potential.
The main idea of the exhibition is to show that the world's first human space flight became possible thanks to the work of Soviet designers and scientists, and 1961 was the beginning of the era of world manned cosmonautics and space exploration.
The exhibition features archival documents related to the stages of preparation of the first group of cosmonauts, the history of development of rocket and space technology, the chronicle and atmosphere of the first human space flight.
At the exhibition you can see the order documents on the principles of selection of cosmonauts, the program and photos of the first squad training, reflecting the training and training process, medical reports, flight schemes, the report on the space flight made at the meeting of the State Commission on April 12, 1961.
A separate block of documents illustrates the trips of the first cosmonaut of the Earth to foreign countries after the flight, as well as the reaction of people to the event of April 12, 1961, captured in children's drawings, letters sent to Yuri Gagarin.
Khabarovsk Krai has hosted Yuri A. Gagarin, G. S. Titov, P. R. Popovich, V. V. Tereshkova, A. G. Nikolaev, A. S. Ivanchenkov, V. V. Ryumin, N. N. Rukavishnikov, and P. V. Dubrov in different years. Two cosmonauts are natives of Khabarovsk Krai: Valery Viktorovich Ryumin and Pyotr Valeryevich Dubrov.
The exhibition is supplemented with exhibits reflecting the history of space exploration from the collection of the Grodekovo Museum. These are items from the collection of cosmonaut P.V. Dubrov, which "visited" space (elements of a suit, a glove from a spacesuit, patches), as well as badges, postage stamps, postcards and others.
