Exhibition of the best works of the Far Eastern photo contest "Depth of field"

September 15 at 18.00 in the main building of the Khabarovsk Regional Museum named after N.I. Grodekov (11 Shevchenko Str.) hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the best works of the VI Far Eastern photo contest "Depth of field".
Then the exhibition will run until October 2.

Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
The organizer of the photo contest is the State Autonomous Institution "Primorsky Krai Center of Folk Culture" supported by the Ministry of Culture and Archives of Primorsky Krai. The photo contest is timed to the 150th anniversary of Vladimir Klavdievich Arsenyev's birth and the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia.
All contest photos were taken in the Far East in the year 2021-2022. The judging panel received 1283 submissions from eight regions of the Far East and major Russian cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi). Amateur associations (photoclubs) in Primorsky and Khabarovsk regions, including children's photoclubs, took an active part in the competition. The youngest participant of the photo contest is only 4 years old.

The commission of experts selected a total of 66 photos from 48 authors out of a huge number of applications. They were presented to the audience at the exhibition and were included in the commemorative photo album. The viewers saw dizzying pictures from a bird's eye view in the category "Aerial Photography", simple human stories in the categories "News" and "People", photos of unique wild animals of the Far Eastern region in the category "Flora and Fauna", the immense beauty of our Motherland in the category "Landscape". Works of participants under 18 years old are presented in a special nomination "Debut".
