The exhibition from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Komsomolsk-on-Amur is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the city. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with a unique artistic chronicle of the founding, construction and transformation of the legendary city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, created by artists throughout its history.

The exhibition combines the features of artistic and at the same time historical and documentary project, despite the fact that there are no historical documents or photographs depicting the events of Komsomolsk-on-Amur's past at the exhibition. Paintings and drawings become real historical documents, reflecting significant moments of construction and formation of the city. The works of artists cover a vast time period starting from 1930th - the first years of the city life till nowadays.

The joint exhibition project, prepared by the N.I. Grodekov Khabarovsk Krai Museum and the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Fine Arts Museum, is an opportunity to see and feel the history and mood of the city, which will forever remain in the life of the country as the City of Youth.

The exhibition will run at the Grodekovo Museum until April 10, 2022.
