The Painted Word" exhibition

On April 15, 2022 the Grodekovo Museum opened the exhibition "Painted Word", which presents works by Khabarovsk artists-illustrators from the funds of our museum.

For many years Khabarovsk book publishing house attracted the most talented graphic artists and painters to work on the design of books, capable of their work worthy to complement the literary story and emotionally color it. The birth of images based on literary subjects is a special artistic gift, combining a love of fine art with a love for good books.

Bright fantastic drawings for children's tales Elvira Kirichenko, restrained book graphics by Nikolai Kholodok, illustrative masterpieces by Dmitry Nagishkin, careful drawing of images by Vasily Zuenko, multi-genre graphic subjects by Sergey Cheshkin, fairy-tale characters by Alexander Lepetukhin and many other examples of the best works of illustrators of our city will be presented at the vernissage.

During the exhibition visitors can try their hand at book illustration and create their own drawings on the proposed subjects.

Tickets cost 300 rubles (with the ability to visit all the halls of the Main Building)
