December 19 in the Khabarovsk Krai Museum named after N.I. Grodekov. N.I. Grodekov (Shevchenko, 11) opens the exhibition "Energy is our work!", prepared jointly with the V.P. Bozhedomov Museum of Power Engineering. V.P. Bozhedomov. It will tell about the present day and future of the Khabarovsk Krai's energy sector.

The exposition presents about 80 items from the collection collected during expeditions to power plants, boiler houses and heat networks of the Far East Generation Company (FEGC) in the cities of Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Amursk, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Sovetskaya Gavan, Maysky and Nekrasovka settlements. These are authentic instruments, equipment parts, artifacts, photographs and documents.

The heroes of the exhibition are enterprises and people, thanks to whom light and heat are born, energy production technology, CHPPs and heating mains under construction, innovative projects and personnel training for the energy industry.  

The guests of the exhibition will be able to visit the workshops of thermal power plants without leaving the museum, to try themselves in the profession of power engineer, examining the transformer substation with the help of a simulator game.

The exhibition will run through March 23, 2025.
