Personal exhibition of Ivan Fedotov "Legends of the Far East

Ivan Fedotov's work began at the Far Eastern State Academy of Art, with Soviet Realism.

In order to understand all the versatility of Russian culture and to reflect it in his work, the artist visited different parts of his homeland. From numerous plein airs Ivan brought back a series of paintings. Fedotov's art absorbed the harsh power of the Far East, the wisdom of Siberia, the lightness and brightness of Kuban, and all these works, different in theme and emotion, have a common style of the artist. The exhibition presents paintings from different series, different periods of creativity, united by one meaning - an attempt to unravel the intangible cultural code of Russia and show it to the audience through painting.

In his 35 years, the artist has already won the love of the audience, and not only in Khabarovsk, but all over Russia and even abroad. Personal exhibitions of Ivan Fedotov took place all over the Far East, in Moscow, Sochi, Novorossiysk, Anapa. The painter took part in big international biennales in Seoul (South Korea) and Dubai (UAE). At the same time the artist dedicates most of his time to his native city, annually opening personal exhibitions in Khabarovsk.
